Physical Activity Pilot Project

A collaboration between Active Wirral & Eastham Group Practice to pilot an approach to data collection and intervention design
We are launching a pilot project to explore and address the barriers preventing our least active patients* at Eastham Group Practice from engaging in physical activity. Through surveys and focus groups, we aim to understand how general practice and community services can better support patients in becoming more active.
Using these insights, we will develop and test a tailored physical activity program, measuring its impact on health and well-being through pre- and post-intervention questionnaires. The results will help determine how this approach can be expanded across The Wirral and other local areas.
This page will be regularly updated as the project progresses, providing details on completed work, key learnings, and upcoming steps.
*Patients engaging in less than 30 minutes of moderate activity per day.
