Healthier South Wirral has been working alongside Boehringer Ingelheim Ltd to improve patient outcomes and reduce rescheduled COPD-related healthcare resource use. We aim to explore the challenges and support needed to design and deliver a robust, high-quality improvement programme to benefit this significant patient cohort across the Primary Care Network practices; The Orchard Surgery, Spital Surgery, Sunlight Group Practice, Eastham Group Practice, The Allport Surgery and Civic Medical Centre.
